| A fresh rockfall and debris flow removed a small forest of pine trees and soil down to bedrock before stopping in Clear Creek. The rockfall peeled off a large slab of Redwall Limestone immediately next to Cheyava Falls, the tallest waterfall in the Grand Canyon, seen here flowing out of a cave in the Redwall after prolonged precipitation on the North Rim. Cheyava Falls is normally dry. | Photo by Brian F. Gootee
