Aravaipa Canyon, Pinal and Graham County, AZ | Aravaipa Canyon almost two years after July, 2006 floods rushed through the canyon, ripping out huge swaths of riparian vegetation. Young cottonwood trees lie bent over, stripped of branches and leaves while older stands farther from the channel remain. The channel walls here are stripped to bedrock on river left (view looking downstream).
