Gila River Box, southeastern Arizona | A steep erosional scarp of Miocene-(?) gravels (Gila Conglomerate), eroded at its base by a cut bank along the Gila River in the distance. Notice rounded river gravels in the immediate foreground, forming a loose desert pavement.
