Wulfenite. Some of the finest examples of the mineral wulfenite come from Arizona mines. This specimen was collected in 1891 from the Globe Mine, Arizona. Wulfenite is a lead molybdate mineral revered for its tabular structure and brilliant yellow to orange color. It is highly prized by mineral collectors.
In 2017, wulfenite became the state mineral of Arizona.
