From the work of US Geological Survey's Richard Hereford. "Mormon Lake is a snow-melt fed hydrologically closed natural lake in north-central Arizona. Since 1906-1941, lake levels have fallen from 8-10 meters to mostly zero. The objective of this study is determine the causes of the decline, which appear to be largely related to 20th Century climate change."
