In the late 1950s and early 1960s our predecessor, The Arizona Bureau of Mines, published small-scale geologic map for each of Arizona's counties. The map displayed here is the Navajo and Apache Counties map. Each count map includes an explanation displaying major lithologic units.
The three principal authors of the Arizona County map series were E.D. Wilson, R.T. Moore and R.T. O'Haire.
