Miocene conglomerate of the southern Bradshaw Mountains

Southern Bradshaw Mountains | Yavapai County.
Framework-supported Miocene conglomerate composed of subrounded to subangular granitoid pebbles, cobbles, and boulders with interstitial sandy, orange-red, arkosic matrix.  This is the basal unit of the Tertiary section in the southern Bradshaw Mountains.  The clasts become more angular down-section as this rock grades to boulder-cobble sedimentary breccia, which unconformably overlies weathered and oxidized Paleoproterozoic granodiorite.
