Reverse fault - monocline in clay pit, Safford, Arizona

Freeport-McMoRan Safford Mine| Pleistocene (?) sediment layers and faults exposed in the sidewalls of a clay pit mined for materials to line the tailings ponds. It appears that a small-displacement reverse fault transforms into a monocline near the top of the outcrop.
