Generalized chrono- and sequence-stratigraphic columns for the Pliocene Bouse and Bullhead Formations. The Bouse deposits exposed in the Cibola area can be understood in the context of a sequence-stratigraphic model of rising and falling lake levels.
. Importantly, the deposition of Bouse Formation sediments coincide with development of the lower Colorado River valley.
