Traveling south on AZ 82 between Sonoita and Patagonia, there are marvelous outcrops of conglomerate (alluvial fan deposits) unconformably resting on fine-grained, basin(?) deposits. Age from the Geologic Map of Arizona Late Pliocene to Pleistocene.
