AZGS at the Flagstaff Festival of Science

We had a great time representing AZGS at Flagstaff's Festival of Science this past weekend! On Saturday September 26, Chad Kwiatkowski and Ellie Broadman had a booth at Snook's Science in the Park, where they talked to festival-goers about earthquake hazards in Arizona. Kids (and grown ups!) got to simulate earthquakes with our foam-block fault models. Then on Sunday, Chad hosted a field trip where he led a guided tour of faults around Flagstaff. We hope folks who attended either event had a great time, and we hope to see you there next year!
